Hot works are works that can cause fire, for example, by tools that generate heat or create sparks. The insurance companies' safety regulations require that firefighters and fire guards as well as persons carrying out temporary flammable hot work are educated and have a certificate. The certificate must be renewed every five years and the Fire Protection Sweden maintains a register of certified persons.
This training is a competency training, adapted for distance and conduct according to SBF approval. The training is implemented with practical quenching exercise.

The education is teacher-led and is broadcast live via the web.
